Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Electronic Product Assembly
-
Read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, assembly instructions, and wiring schematics.

Assemble electronic components such as PCBs, connectors, sensors, cables, power supplies, and housings using manual tools, soldering equipment, and automated machines.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for component placement, mechanical assembly, and electrical integration.

Handle and manage ESD-sensitive components with appropriate precautions.
2. Testing and Troubleshooting
-
Perform functional testing of assembled electronic units to verify proper operation.

Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other diagnostic equipment to check voltage levels, signal integrity, and device behavior.

Identify and troubleshoot faults in hardware, wiring, or components; repair or escalate as required.

Log test results, anomalies, and resolutions accurately for documentation and traceability.
3. Calibration
-
Conduct calibration of electronic instruments and devices following internal procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Adjust settings, values, or tuning parameters to meet accuracy requirements.
-
Use calibration equipment such as reference meters, load simulators, and precision voltage/current sources.
-
Maintain calibration logs and ensure all equipment used is certified and up to date.
4. Quality Control (QC)
-
Perform visual inspections and functional tests to ensure assembled products meet technical specifications and quality standards.

Check for defects such as soldering errors, component misplacement, poor alignment, or physical damage.

Record quality data, generate inspection reports, and participate in quality audits.

Tag and isolate defective units and coordinate with quality assurance for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
5. Documentation and Reporting
-
Complete production checklists, test logs, calibration records, and quality inspection forms.

Update work orders and maintain traceability of components, tools, and processes.

Report production status, non-conformities, and improvement suggestions to the supervisor or quality engineer.
6. Process Compliance and Safety
-
Follow all safety protocols, ESD handling practices, and manufacturing hygiene standards.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with ISO, IPC, or company-specific quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment.
-
Participate in safety drills, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
