Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in Production Operations:

Support the production team in day-to-day tasks such as setting up production lines, operating machinery, and ensuring the production process runs smoothly.

Assist in assembling products, packaging, and ensuring that all production-related activities are executed efficiently.

Help with the preparation and organization of raw materials and components before production.
-
Perform basic equipment checks and assist in equipment maintenance as required.
2. Quality Control and Inspection:
-
Learn and apply quality control procedures to ensure that products meet the company’s specifications and industry standards.

Monitor production output for consistency and quality, flagging any issues or defects.

Assist in conducting tests and inspections at different stages of the production process to ensure that products meet safety and quality requirements.

Document and report any defects or irregularities observed during the production process.
3. Adherence to Safety Standards:

Follow all health and safety guidelines while working on the production floor.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company protocols for cleanliness, machine operation, and handling hazardous materials.

Learn about safety equipment and emergency procedures, including proper handling of machinery and materials.

Ensure that all safety measures are met to prevent workplace accidents.
4. Process Improvement Support:

Work with senior production staff to learn how to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production line.

Assist in process improvement initiatives to help increase productivity and reduce waste.

Participate in daily or weekly production meetings and contribute ideas for improving workflow.
5. Data Collection and Reporting:

Assist in collecting data related to production metrics such as output, downtime, and quality control.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to help assess the efficiency of production processes.

Document work completed, materials used, and any machine maintenance or issues for reporting to senior management.
6. Continuous Learning and Development:

Take part in on-the-job training sessions to learn various aspects of production, including equipment operation, quality control, and troubleshooting.

Participate in workshops, seminars, or courses as part of the company’s training program to improve skills and knowledge.

Shadow experienced team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of production cycles and manufacturing processes.
