Experience & Certification.
Minimum 3 Years of experience in HP tools required.
Should have basic certification for the tools engaged in.
Daily checklist and health check of tools.
OBM/OMi- Checking All the services related to this tool are properly running or not.
Checking web console is properly opening.
Checking All the Agent are up and running or not.
Adding new nodes to the management server.
OBR- Checking All the services related to this tool are properly running or not.
Checking web console is properly opening.
Generating daily/weekly/monthly Utilization and uptime report.
NNMi- Checking All the services related to this tool are properly running or not.
Checking web console is properly opening.
Checking all the connected devices and their Status.
Adding new nodes to management server.
Generating Utilization report for connected devices.
NA- Checking All the services related to this tool are properly running or not.
SM/OVSD- Checking All the services related to this tool are properly running or not.
Checking web console is properly opening.
Checking Auto Ticket opening and closing status.
Generating Call report.
Addition of new user id.
  • Troubleshooting –
    OBM/OMi- Restart all the services if tools not working properly.
    If Any connected Agent is down restarting the agent or re adding the agent to management server.
    Check the log files and resolve as per Knowledge base.
    Raise Support and follow up with OEM if required.
    OBR- Restart all the services if tools not working properly.
    Check the log files and resolve as per Knowledge base.
    Raise Support and follow up with OEM if required.
    NNMi- Restart all the services if tools not working properly.
    Doing Status/configuration pool for the unresponsive nodes.
    Check the log files and resolve as per Knowledge base.
    Raise Support and follow up with OEM if required.
    NA- Restart all the services if tools not working properly.
    Check the log files and resolve as per Knowledge base.
    Raise Support and follow up with OEM if required.
    SM/OVSD- Restart all the services if tools not working properly.
    Check the log files and resolve as per Knowledge base.
    Raise Support and follow up with OEM if required.
  • Execute customization and reporting scenarios with support of OEM.
  • System Level support--.
    • Execute standard installation and customization without guidance.
    • Execute customization and reporting scenarios without guidance
    • Manage an implementation end to end with customer communication included for is domain and take support from L2’s for other domains.
    • Tools DC to DR switchover activity, patching activity.
    • Should be a part of at least 2 tool support environments for a period of 18 months.
    • Execute advanced and integration for tool specific domains.
    • Should be able to create architecture and solution diagrams in presentation and design tools e.g. visio for his domain.
    Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
    • Three or more years of experience in software engineering or operating systems programming
    • Experience working with design and coding languages
    • Experience working with software design principles
    • Experience working with computer hardware
    Other Qualifications
    • Analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of software
    • Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
    • Communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
    • Ability to work in a team environment
