Qualification : (i) Ph. D. degree in relevant field and
First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the
relevant branch. AND (ii) Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching /
research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent
to that of an Associate Professor. AND (iii) At least 6 research publications
at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list
of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/Cosupervisor
till the date of eligibility of promotion. OR At least 10 research publications
at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list
of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.
Desirable : (i) Evidence of having taken up sponsored
research, continuing education and/or industrial consultancy; (ii) Proven
record of academic/research leadership, guiding UG/PG and Ph.D. students and
team work (iii) Participation in professional society activities; (iv) Good
publications record in refereed scientific/professional journals with
citations; patents to be given priority (v) Good knowledge of technical
education system in the country and its development (vi) Consultancy and other
methods of fund raising for the Institute shall be preferred

relevant branch AND (ii) At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals
/ UGC / AICTE approved list of journals. AND (iii) Minimum of 8 years of
experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years
shall be Post Ph.D. experience. Work experience does not include the period of
M.Tech. if done as regular candidate. Post-Doc and other higher qualifications
shall be given preference.
Desirable : (i) Evidence of having taken up sponsored
research, continuing education and/or industrial consultancy; (ii) Proven
record of guiding UG/PG and Ph.D. students and team work (iii) Participation in
professional society activities; and organization of conferences and seminars.
(v) Evidence of ability to pursue high quality academic/research work
independently; (vi) Good publications record in refereed
scientific/professional journals (Paid journals will not be considered)

Desirable : (i) GATE qualification shall be given weightage;
(ii) Teaching/Research/Industrial experience in the relevant discipline; (iii)
Good publications record in refereed scientific/professional journals shall be
given weightage (Paid journals will not be considered)
Faculties in Science and Humanities: (i)Ph.D. with course
work or as per UGC guidelines along with NET/SLET or any equivalent exam
passed. Board may adopt the guidelines of UGC at the time of advertisement (ii)
M.Sc. in the concerned discipline preceded by B.Sc./equivalent with a First
Class or Good Second. All degrees to be from courses approved by UGC (iii)The
qualifications for recruitment for faculty in the disciplines of Basic
Sciences, Social Science and Humanities shall be as per the UGC Notification
No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS) Dated 18th July, 2018 and UGC guidelines issued from time
to time.
Desirable : (i)
Publications record in refereed scientific/ professional journals. (ii)
Teaching/research/ industrial experience in reputed organizations.
