Qualification : 

1. Professor: As Reader/ Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty. (minimum 10 years teaching experience after completion of postgraduation). Publications : Minimum of four Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Journals two accepted/ published during period as Associate Professor

2. Associate Professor: As Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty. (minimum 7 years teaching experience after completion of postgraduation) 2 Publications : Minimum of two Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Journals , accepted/ published during period as Assistant Professor .

3. Assistant Professor: Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Lecturer/ Demonstrator/ Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts after post graduation in the concerned specialty. The Candidates who have done super-speciality (DM/M.Ch) in concerned speciality shall be directly eligible for post Assistant Professor

4. Lecturer (Nursing) 03 years teaching experience after M.Sc (N) in the concerned specialty as Tutor or any higher teaching post in College of Nursing. For Super Specialty Diploma Course 03 years teaching experience after M.Sc Nursing in the concerned allied specialty with post basic diploma in concerned super-specialty, M.Sc Nursing in the Super Specialty concerned as Lecturer will be preferred Ph.D(N) will be given preference

5. Lecturer (Physiotherapy) Neurology MPT (Neurology) from a recognized University/Institution as a full time regular candidate after basic qualification of BPT. The candidate must have 03 years teaching experience as Demonstrator.

2. Associate Professor- Rs. 37400-67000+8900 G.P

3. Assistant Professor – Rs..37400-67000+8600 G.P

4. Lecturer (Nursing) – Rs. 15600-39100+5400 G.P

5. Lecturer (Physiotherapy)- Rs. 15600-39100+5400 G.P 

Upper Age Limit : The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age in the case of Assistant Professor/Lecturer, not more than 45 years in case of Associate Professor and not more than 50 years in the case of Professor. In Service candidates i.e. in the case of persons already in regular employment of any department of Punjab Government/ Any State Government/Central Government in India, applying for direct recruitment for all posts shall have 10 years relaxation. Relaxation is upper age limit as per Punjab Govt. Rules.
