Qualification : 

1. Professor: As Reader/ Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty. (minimum 10 years teaching experience after completion of post graduation).

2. Associate Professor: As Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty. (minimum 7 years teaching experience after completion of post graduation)

3. Assistant Professor: Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Lecturer/ Demonstrator/ Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts after post graduation in the concerned specialty. The Candidates who have done super-speciality (DM/M.Ch) in concerned speciality shall be directly eligible for post Assistant Professor.The Candidate who has done DNB which fulfils the equivalent criteria of MCI for MD/MS/DM/MCh shall be considered as meeting the post graduation qualification requirement.

4. Lecturer (SLP/Sp&Hg): M.Sc (Audiology)/M.Sc (Speech Language Pathology)/MASLP/M.Sc (Speech and Hearing) degree from RCI recognized after BASLP degree.

1. Professor- Rs. 37400-67000+10000 G.P

2. Associate Professor- Rs. 37400-67000+8900 G.P

3. Assistant Professor – Rs..37400-67000+8600 G.P

4. Lecturer (SLP/Sp&Hg)- Rs. 15600-39100+5400 G.P

Upper Age Limit : The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age in the case of Assistant Professor, not more than 45 years in case of Associate Professor and not more than 50 years in the case of Professor. In Service candidates i.e. in the case of persons already in regular employment of any department of Punjab Government/ Any State Government/Central Government in India, applying for direct recruitment for all posts shall have 10 years relaxation. For other posts the maximum age is 37 years. Relaxation is upper age limit as per Punjab Govt. Rules.
