Age Limits :  i) The upper age limit for the post of Assistant Professor is 37 ( thirty seven) years on the 1st January of the year of the advertisement relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category (non-creamy layer) candidates. Differently-abled candidates (except for Physical Education) for the post of Assistant Professor are entitled to an age relaxation of l0 years. Age relaxation of 5 years is available to the candidates possessing Ph.D Degree. ii) Age limit for the post of Associate Professor and Professor may be followed as per the UGC Guidelines in this regard and their amendments from time to time.

Librarian

Qualifications :  i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record. ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian. iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. iv. A minimum score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) as stipulated in the UGC Regulations 2016 in Appendix III Table VII.

Desirable : A M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science /documentation /archives and manuscript keeping

Registrar

Qualification :  i. Uniformly good academic record with a Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale wherever a grading system is followed. ii. At least 15 years’ of experience as Sr. Lecturer/ Reader/ Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above or with 8 year’s of service in the AGP of RS. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration in Academic Institutions like University, or in an institute of higher learning of which 5 (five) years must be in a University or in an Institute of Post Graduate Study. OR Comparable experience in research establishments and other institutions of higher learning. OR 15 (Fifteen) years’ administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post.

Desirable :  i. A Doctorate Degree or published research work of merit. OR ii. High level of administrative experience in a Government or Quasi Government organisation or a good background in administration and management in senior position. iii. Conversant with Information Communication Technology (ICT).

Deputy Director

A Doctorate Degree in any discipline of studies iii. At least 10 years’ of experience in teaching in substantive posts in Universities/ HEIs of which 5 years in the AGP/ GP of Rs. 6,000/- and above OR Comparable experience as above in research establishments and other institutions of higher learning as faculty in substantive position. OR Ten (10) years’ fulltime administrative experience in supervisory capacity, of which 5 years shall be as Assistant Registrar or equivalent post in HEIs. Research Associate
