Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To participate in the team discussions for development of program strategy in Hubli.
- Implementation of the program with support from Senior Manager.
- Develop monthly work plans and adhere to it to ensure deliverables are met within the deadline.
- Contribute to the annual planning of the Girl Icon Fellowship program.
- Undertake planned field visits and conduct monthly telephonic calls to assess progress, and identify any problem faced by the Girl Icons. Provide suggestions and feedback to the team.
- Verify Learning Grants and Social Action Project Grants of Girl Icons and submit to Senior Manager for approval.
- Develop and submit timely and accurate activity/progress reports.
- Timely collection and dissemination of relevant data and information.
- Develop and maintain trust and effective relationships with Girl Icons and community members.
- Contribute to the development of relations with various stakeholders with government bodies, education institutions and NGOs.
- Support the organisation and facilitation of events (dialogue meetings, workshops and trainings).
- Take on other administrative tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager, such as updating the database, translating documents, maintaining files, assisting with logistics for travel, etc.

maker in their own lives and the communities they come from. We inspire young girls as change-makers to advocate for their right to access free, safe, and quality education.
The Girl Icon Fellowship Program was introduced in 2015 to inspire, nurture and amplify the voices of girl leaders as empowered agents of change in their communities and the world. It is a 2-year long leadership development program for adolescent girls (12-18 years) who demonstrate the willingness and ability to challenge social barriers that restrict the unleashing of girl’s potential in their communities.
Milaan is currently present in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
