Programme Officer Jobs opportunity in Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) full-time based in Pune

Qualification :  Candidate should have (a) knowledge of issues of gender & violence against women and interventions in the district and State, and (b) prior experience in direct casework and/or intervention work on women's issues at the grassroot level with special focus on Domestic Violence. The candidate must have (a) a post-graduate qualification in social work (M.A. in Social Work/MSW or any other allied social sciences stream) and 2 years' work experience in social development sector, and must also demonstrate commitment to working on issues of violence against women vide direct work with both survivors and State systems. Candidate must demonstrate willingness to travel across Maharashtra and occasionally to other States as per programme requirements detailed in section on job description below. Verbal and written fluency in Marathi is essential; Working knowledge of Hindi, English and local languages/dialects within districts of Maharashtra and comfort with the use of computers & Internet is also desirable.

Pay : The selected candidate will be contractually employed with TISS, the remuneration payable will be within the range of INR 30,000-INR 40,000/- (consolidated) per month, based on experience and qualifications of the selected candidate
