Project Assistant/ Data Entry Operator recruitment in ICMR -National Institute of Epidemiology on contract basis
Project Assistant /1 OBC
Name of the Project: Tribal Health Research Unit @ NIE, Chennai
Qualification Essential: Graduate in Epidemiology or Social Work from a recognised university with three years experience in the area of Health Research in a research laboratory from a recognised Institute. or Masters Degree in Epidemiology, Public Health or Social Work
Desirable : A Post Graduate Degree from recognized University with M.Sc Degree in Epidemiology or Public Health or Social Work. Experience in designing, conducting, analysis of data in Qualitative Studies, and usage of statistical packages Good health to undertake strenuous field work .
Job Responsibilities 1.A good team player and a team coordinator 2.The job involves extensive travel and working with tribals living in mountains and forests for atleast 3 weeks per month 3.Collection of Qualitative data and analysing the data sets 4.Writing reports and research papers 5.Any other work assigned by the Director, NIE or Principal Investigator of the Project.

Essential Qualification : Intermediate or 12th pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 15,000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer in English.
Age Limit: 25 Years
