CSIR-CSMCRI-MARS, Mandapam invites young and dynamic candidates with strong subject knowledge to carry out research with creative and innovative approach on seaweed culture and phycocolloid characterization under the DST-SERB, New Delhi sponsored project titled “Selection of superior strain from unexplored carrageenophytes for carrageenan production and other value added products in a biorefinery mode”

Project Assistant-Level-II/ 01 post

Qualification: M.Sc Botany/Biotechnology/Bio-chemistry/B-Tech Biotechnology/Marine Biology/Marine Biotechnology

Pay Scale : Rs.25,000/month+16% HRA for first two years and for third year Rs 28,000 / month +16%HRA

Age: 30 years as on date of interview (age relaxation as per CSIR rule)

Selection Procedure: Written test cum personal interview
