Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) invites application for the position Project Assistant

Project entitled: "Role of connexions in cardiac fibroblast phenotypic transformation and extra cellular matrix synthesis in cardiac diseases" (P-5395)

Qualification & Experience (Essential): 1. Masters in Biotechnology. 2. 2-years of experience in cellular and molecular biology work

Qualification & Experience (Desirable): Experience in histology and in carrying out in vivo studies on small animals

Number of vacancies: 1 (SC)

Consolidated remuneration: Rs.16,000/- per month

Tenure of Appointment: Six months(extendable)or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier

Brief job description:

1. To undertake investigations in cellular and molecular cardiology

2. To carry out in vivo studies in small animals

Nature of appointment: Purely on contract

Age Limit: Maximum age limit as On 30-04-2021: 35 years
