Pay Scale : Rs. 15000/- p.m. + HRA
Age: 28 years
2. Project Assistant-II
Qualification: M.Sc./BE (55%) or equivalent
Pay Scale : Rs. 25000/- p.m. + HRA
Age: 30 years
3. Project Assistant-III
Qualification: M.Sc./BE (55%) or equivalent plus two years of experience or M.Pharm./M.Tech./MBBS (55%).
Pay Scale : Rs.28000/-p.m. + HRA
Age:35 years
4. Research Associate-I
Qualification: M.Tech./M.Pharm.(55%) or equivalent with two years of experience/MD/Ph.D
Pay Scale : Rs. 36000/- p.m. + HRA
Age: 35 years
5. Research Associate-II
Qualification: Ph.D with two years of experience
Pay Scale : Rs.38000/-p.m. + HRA
Age: 35 years
6. Research Associate-III
Qualification: Ph.D with 4 years of experience

Feburary Area: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biotechnology and any branch of Life Science. Experience: Two years experience preferably in one or more from the following :- Cloning, gene expression, Protein purification, characterization and protein biochemistry etc.

technology.

Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH) is one amongst the 38 national laboratories of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and is its youngest laboratory. Set-up to be a fore-runner in the area of Biotechnology, the Institute occupies an area of about 47 acres, of which the labs cover 22 acres and the residential campus, 25 acres. The Institute has a built up area of about 3.60 lakh sq. ft., is spread over five main buildings, the main R&D block (2.00 lakhs sq. ft.), Fermentation block (0.50 lakhs sq. Ft.), Animal House (0.30 lakhs sq. ft.), Workshop, Stores and Services area (0.50 lakhs sq. ft.), and Cafeteria (0.10 lakhs sq. ft.).
