Project Assistant Remote Sensing Job Opportunity in VIT University

Project Assistant 3; Code No: PA3

Qualifications: Ist class in any PG degree with remote sensing / PG Diploma in Remote Sensing/ Climate change modeling. CSIR/NET/GATE qualification and experience in Remote Sensing&Climate change modelingis desirable.

This project is involved with intensive field trips in coastal regions of Tamilnaduto collect the different classes of plant, animal, soil and water samples. Establishment of herbaria, germplasm repository, GIS analysis along with metrological data, chemical profiling, microbialand plant tissue cultures are mandatory.

Fellowship: Rs.14000/- per month (Consolidated)

Duration of the Project: Two and half years
