Project Title: Value Addition of non-timber wood available in the North Eastern Region of India by Chemical Modification for different industrial applications

Project Assistant (L2) /01 Post

Essential Qualification: 1 st Class MSc in [Organic / Inorganic] Chemistry

Desirable: NET (JRF/LS) / GATE qualified

Max Age: 30 yrsRemuneration: Rs. 25000/- per month + 8% HRA

Project Title: Ammonia from dinitrogen at ambient condition by new advanced material: a potential energy saving process than Haber-Bosch

Project Assistant (L2)/ 02  Post

01 Post with Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc in Chemistry (Organic / Inorganic)

01 Post with Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc in Physical Chemistry or BE / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. Knowledge of catalyst synthesis, electrochemistry, Reaction Engineering will be preferred.

Desirable: NET (JRF/LS) / GATE qualified

Max Age: 30 yrs

Remuneration: Rs. 25000/- per month + 8% HRA

Research Associate / 01 Post

Essential Qualification: PhD in Chemistry (Organic / Inorganic) or thesis submitted.

Desirable: Experience in synthetic inorganic chemistry and knowledge in electrochemistry

Max Age: 35 yrs

Remuneration: Rs. 28000/- (thesis submitted) & Rs. 36000/- for PhD per month + 8% HRA

Stipend: As per sanction of Funding Agencies

Duration: The project completion date may be extended depending upon the grant of the Funding agencies.

Age: As on date of interview will be taken into consideration. (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt of India orders)

Project Title: Bio-prospecting of some indigenous medicinal plants of NE region of India with special reference to Anti-inflammatory properties

Project Fellow/ 01 Post

Essential Qualification: 1 st Class MSc in Organic Chemistry / MPharm Pharmaceutics

Desirable: NET (JRF/LS) / GPAT qualified [Max Age: 30 yrs]

Remuneration: For NET qualified candidate: Rs. 25000/- per month (+ 8% HRA) For others: Rs. 12000/- per month + 8% HRA

Project Title: Utilization of North East Region (NER), India Clay minerals for ceramic applications.

Project Assistant (L2)/ 02 post

01 Post with Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc in Chemistry (Inorganic / Physical / Materials Sc.). Knowledge on clay based ceramic materials, its beneficiation will be preferred.

01 Post with Essential Qualification: 1st Class BTech / BE in Ceramic Engineering, Technology or in Chemical Engineering. Knowledge in Ceramic material processing and characterization of ceramic materials will be preferred.

Desirable: NET (JRF/LS) / GATE qualified

Max Age: 30 yrs

Remuneration: Rs. 25000/- per month + 8% HRA

Research Associate /01 post

Essential Qualification: PhD in Ceramic Technology/ Ceramic Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/ Chemistry or equivalent.

Desirable: Knowledge of Ceramic material processing, clay modification and characterization of ceramic materials with publications in at least 3 SCI Journals

Max Age: 35 yrs

Remuneration: Rs. 36000/- per month + 8% HRA

Stipend: As per sanction of Funding Agencies
