Qualification in Details:
A walk-in-interview will be held for engagement of the following project positions at the institute on 10th December 2020. The candidates will be selected based on their qualifications, experiences and performances in the interview as per requirement in the projects.
1. Name of the Post: Project Assistant Science
2. Project title: AlB05006SI - Breeding of muga silkworm for improved silk quality and disease tolerance" (CSB funded project)
3. Qualification: B.Sc. / Graduate in Science (any branch of biological / agricultural sciences) /PGDS having experiences in relevant field
4. Stipend: Rs. 12,000/- (Rs 15,000/- for PGDS / Diploma in Textiles holders)
5. Duration: Project period only (till Sept 2022).
Age Limit: 25 years
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
2. Project title: AIB-5012Sl Inter and Intra specific hybridization for improvement of Eri silkworm, Samia ricini (Donovan) (CSB funded project)
3. Qualification: 1st lass M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Agriculture with specialization in genetics and breeding (preferably)
4. Stipend: Rs. 20,000/- with NET/GATE; Rs. 15,000/- without NET/GATE plus HRA
5. Duration: Project period only (till February 2024).
Age Limit:
28 years as on the date of the interview
