Job Description
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of temporary staff to work in DST sponsored Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Ropar in the framework of National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM - ICPS).
1. Name of the Post: Project Associate Electrical Engineering
a) Project Associate: Multimedia analysis (audio, video, image analysis)
b) Project Associate: Computer vision, image processing, applied machine learning
2. No of Post: 02
3. Duration: 3 years. After every 6 months, the progress of the candidate will be reviewed for the extension beyond one year. The position may be extended for a duration of two more years with new objectives.
4. Emoluments: As per DST norms. Hostel and mess facilities may be provided on the payment basis, if available.
5. Essential Qualifications: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Electrical Engineering or related branches.
6. Desirable qualification:
a) Experience in working with multimedia analysis tasks such as video, audio, image, text processing. Experience in application development on the web/android/iOS platform is a plus.
b) Experience in computer vision and image processing methods. Experience in application development on the web/android/iOS platform is a plus.
