Job Description
Applications are invited for temporary position of 01 Project Associate position in a research
project on “Flood risk assessment in tropical rivers in the Anthropocene and under climate change
scenario using hydro-geomorphic modeling” funded by MHRD through STAR funding
programme.
Duration: Total project duration is three years. The position will be for one-year duration, which
will be extended upto 3 years on the basis of satisfactory performance and availability of project
fund.
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Earth Sciences/Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Geospatial Sciences/ Hydrology/Climate change or related area. Candidates should have valid GATE/NET card.
Candidates selected through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and Institution such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MRD,
ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc will also be considered.
Candidates with more than two years of experience as JRF or equivalent positon and on the basis
of their performance in the interview will be considered for higher salary range.
Salary: Rs. 31,000 to 35,000 pm + 24% HRA* (* If applicable)
