Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) invites application for the position Project Associate

Post-1: Project Associate: Embedded Systems

Positions: 1

Post 2: Project Associate: Application Development

Positions: 1

Duration: 3 years. After every 6 months, the progress of the candidate will reviewed for the extension beyond one year. The position may be extended for a duration of two more years with

new objectives.

Emoluments: As per DST norms. Hostel and mess facilities may be provided on the payment basis, if available.

Essential Qualifications: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Electrical Engineering or related branches.

Desirable qualification for Post 1:

a. Experience in working with embedded boards, embedded programming.

b. Experience with solid works and 3D printing will be beneficial.

Desirable qualification for post 2: Experience in application development on android/web.

Selected candidates will work in the application domain of agriculture. For post 1, the work will be

designing, prototyping and validating embedded systems for agriculture domain. For post 2, Android/Web applications need to be developed. Field work may be involved in both the posts.
