Job Description
Project Associate Life Sciences (Junior Research Fellow) recruitment at IIT Mandi
Project Title: A pilot study to develop microRNAs based non-invasive diagnostic method for the early detection of the oral squamous cell carcinoma IIT Mandi funded Project [Ref: IITM/INT/TPS/14]
Eligibility: M.Sc./B. Tech or equivalent degree with 60% marks in Life Sciences/ Computational Biology/ Biotechnology or relevant subject area.
Essential: Excellent communication skills, Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, Willingness to learn new techniques.
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in both the computational biology and experimental biology, and those who have qualified GATE/NET/or other equivalent national level exam or having post graduate degree in engineering will be preferred.
Fellowship: 20,000-25000/-depending on qualification and experience as per MHRD guidelines (Funding is available for one year).
Duration: For 1 year(Can be extended to two or more years subjected to the performance and extension of the project). The selected candidate will need to join the project immediately.
Note: JRF may get PhD admission if he/she fulfills the admission criteria of IIT Mandi.
