Applications are invited from eligible, interested candidates for the following posts for the project titled “Establishment of National Repository for Microalgae & Cyanobacteria (Phase-II) funded by the Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) purely on temporary basis

1 Research Associate – 1 No.

Pay Scale: Rs. 47000 + 16% HRA.

Duration: 3 Years*

Essential: Ph. D. in Microbiology Desirable: Research experiences including Survey, Isolation of Microalgae & Cyanobacteria, Germplasm & Database maintenance, Mass Cultivation & Molecular Taxonomy & Phylogeny with relevant publications.

2 Project Associate – 1 No.

Pay Scale: Rs. 25000 + 16% HRA

Duration: 3 Years*

Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences (Specialization in Microbiology) Desirable: Research experiences including Isolation, identification and culture maintenance of Microalgae & Cyanobacteria, Field visits, Mass Cultivation & Molecular taxonomy, Database maintenance.
