Minimum prescribed
educational
Qualifications
Project Associate - I:
M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry)
B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
(aggregate)
Principal Project Associate:
BE/BTech in Engineering or Technology from a recognized
University with minimum of 55% marks and Eight Years experience
in R&D in industrial and Academic institutions or Science and
Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
OR
Doctoral Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized
university and 4 years’ experience in R&D in industrial and
Academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations
and Scientific activities and services
Desirable experience, if
any
MSc student: Hands on experience in organic synthesis, preferably
with one year experience on organic synthesis
BE/BTech: Good understanding of unit operations, reaction
engineering and fluid dynamics
Principal Project Associate: Experience in all the following
domains: process development, process design, continuous flow
synthesis, pilot plant design, hands on experience of analytical
instrument viz. GC/HPLC, etc.
Age limit* For Project Associate -I: 35* years
For Principal Project Associate: 40 years*
Consolidated
emoluments per month
PA-I:
i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through a)
National eligibility tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship
(Assistant Professorship) or GATE
ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i)
above
Principal Project Associate:
Rs. 49000/- per month (DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated
30.01.2019, With reference to No.4/CMG/2020-TMDII rules dated
13.08.2019)
