Project Asst. /Project Fellow Geology job recruitment in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune.Name of the Project : 'Numerical modeling and field studies of debris covered glaciers in Indian Himalaya' Project Code 31815222.
Minimum Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Geology / Geoinformatics or related disciplines with Physics / Mathematics at B. Sc. level
Preference Solid background in remote sensing and GIS technology. Familiarity with open source GIS softwares like QGIS and GRASS. Basic knowledge of computer programming languages like C etc. Prior exposure to glacier basics.

Pay Scale : Rs. 16,000 + 30% HRA per month OR Rs. 25,000/- + 30% HRA per month with valid CSIR NET / GATE or equivalent scorecard.
Age : Not More than 28 years as on closing date of advertisement .
