Research programme on 'Regional-cum-Facilitation Centre for Sustainable Development of Medicinal Plants (Southern Region)' Project KFRI/EP/353/2017

Essential qualification : M. Sc. (Botany/Plant Science/Forestry) and Ph.D

Desirable: Research experience in the field of medicinal plants. Field experience in nursery techniques, QPM Production.Experience in conducting training/workshops related to medicinal plants.

No. of Posts : 3

Responsibilities : (a) To assist the investigators and project officers in the general administration of the project, coordination and smooth conducting various activities proposed in the programme for 5 southern States and two Union Territories of India.

(b)Planning and executing stakeholders meet, preparation of resource materials, conducting training programmes, production and distribution of QPM of medicinal plants, promotion of cultivation, intervention in marketing aspects, etc.

Emolument: Rs.30000

Age as on 01.01.2018: below 50 years
