Project Coordinator Earth Sciences / Field Officer Job Opportunity At G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development
1. National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS)-Project Management Unit (PMU)
Project Coordinator (01 No)
Qualification : 1st Class Master Degree in Earth Sciences/Environmental Engineering/Hydrology/ Soil and water conservation/ Geography/RS & GIS/ Physical Sciences with minimum 3 years experience or PhD in above mentioned subjects from the recognized University or Institutes with the sound knowledge of Computer software
Desirable : Demonstrated experience of report writing and documentation supported with publications and experience in soil and water conservation/ watershed behaviour and conservation practices, knowledge of working with statistical software
Salary : Rs. 30,000/= P.M. fixed
2. NMHS funded project "Rejuvenation of Kosi River of Kumaun Himalaya through field intervention and peoples participation"
Field Officer (02 No.) at Kosi Rejuvenation Cell
Qualification : Master degree in Earth Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Forestry/ Geography/ Physical Sciences/ or MTech in Environmental Engineering/ Hydrology and other related streams of Watershed Management from the recognized University
Desirable : Having field experience in soil and water conservation/ watershed behavior and conservation practices/ a good understanding of geohydrology of mountain areas, have the knowledge of working with advances RS-GIS software
Salary : Rs. 16,000/- +Rs. 1,800/- HRA
Age Limit: 28 Years
Junior Project Fellow (01 No.) at GBPNIHESD
Qualification : First Class Master Degree in Earth Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Physical Sciences or M.Tech in Environmental Engineering/ Hydrology and other related streams of watershed management from the recognized University or Institute
Desirable : Having experience in soil and water conservation/ watershed behaviour and conservation practices/, a good understanding of geohydrology of mountain areas, field and laboratory analysis work related to soil and water, have the knowledge of working with advances RS-GIS software, along with
Salary : Rs. 16,000/- +Rs. 1,800/- HRA
Age Limit: 28 Years
Field Assistants (01 Nos.) at GBPNIHESD
Qualification : Intermediate with at least 3 year experience in field work in mountain areas
Desirable : Having an experience to work in difficult terrains on water and soil conservation projects
Salary : Rs. 10,000/- fixed
