Job Description
Job Summary:
As the Project Manager for our Diabetes Educator Team in Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of our diabetes education programs and CDB initiatives in the region. You will lead, mentor, and guide a team of ~10 Diabetes Educators to deliver high-quality education and support to individuals living with diabetes. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, project management, and healthcare expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of 10 Diabetes Educators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on achieving our mission and goals.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing training.
Project Management:
Develop and execute monthly plans for diabetes education programs and initiatives in 3 cities.
Ensure that camps are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Monitor and report on project progress, visiting all centers/clinics/hospitals everyday.
Ensure HCPs (Health Care Professionals) & paramedics are trained periodically on Diabetes management.
People management and development:
Assigning roles and responsibilities for each of the team members.
Recruitment, induction and training of the project implementation team.
Monitoring performance against set KPIs and giving timely feedback.
Motivating & mentoring the team for sustained high performance Recruiting and training of project team (Diabetes educators).
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with Govt., Directorate Of Health Services (DHS), KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), healthcare facilities, community organizations, and other stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of our programs and strengthen the CBH efforts and position Novo Nordisk as a preferred healthcare partner in diabetes management in district.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and community leaders, state govt. stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
Oversee the delivery of diabetes education services, ensuring they adhere to best practices and standards.
Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high-quality care.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Monthly data reporting.
Leave approvals and keep a check on deviation.
Collect and analyze data related to diabetes education program outcomes and effectiveness.
Prepare regular reports for senior management about progress on CBH project.
Internal & external Communication for brand building:
Ensure that corporate positioning & organizational values are effectively communicated internally & externally.
Ensure that the NN India’s views are represented at various forums where key decisions get impacted and influence the local government to engage with Novo Nordisk as a healthcare partner.
Ensure that Novo Nordisk’s involvement in CBH project receives adequate media coverage to raise awareness.
