Job Description
Role:
- Coordinating on daily development activities with the project team.
- Monitor and track the project’s progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
- Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Making certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.
- Communicate and organize incoming requests for changes, priorities, and determine schedules.
- Assist with Quality Assurance testing of websites by coordinating with QA team.
- Ensure that the entire project life cycle functions as planned.
- Manage project deployments and periodic deployment schedules.
- Updating master timelines including organizing assets and updating the team on status and budgets.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
- Must have the willingness to learn new technologies and have exceptional self-learning capability.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Interest in making a career in the IT domain
- Functional knowledge of Word, Excel and Google Docs
- Tons and tons of experience in web browsing (beyond google and facebook)
- Experience: 1 to 3 years

Codebox is recruiting for the position of Project Coordinator (Trainee). This role will involve coordinating with clients and developers for web-based project development. No prior experience is necessary. Candidate will be trained on web development processes and technologies (non-programming). Potential to learn about the complete end-to-end process of web and mobile application development and get a top-level view of how a software project functions.
An ideal candidate must be exceptional in spoken and written communication. They will be expected to communicate fluently via Skype / Email with international clients and understand business and technical requirements. Candidate will be trained at a high level (non-programming level) about the different technologies that we work on and how these are used to build web applications. Based on this, the candidate should be able to explain to the client's high-level implementation strategies, change of delivery deadlines and translate to the developers the business terms to technical terms. Candidate must be from a technical background (need not have programming knowledge) but being tech savvy is very important. Candidate must have extensive experience of browsing the internet (beyond google and facebook) this role involves co-coordinating with developers and clients for development of web applications. Hence, Candidate must have an exceptional understanding of how websites work with the good/bad user experience.
