Project Engineer-I (Data archive and proposal management system) job opportunities in Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA)
Educational Qualification: Full time graduate degree in BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Technology/ Information technology/ Software Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade from a recognised University/ Institution.
Work Experience:
a) Essential: The candidates are expected to have 2 to 3 years of experience in the following areas:
• Core Java, Java EE (Web technologies such as Java Script and JSP)
• POSTGRE SQL
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Apache Tomcat
• Good documentation skills
(b) Desirable: Knowledge of astronomical databases and scripting languages such as Python. Must be
familiar with Unix/Linux platform.
