Educational Qualification: Full time graduate degree in BE/B.Tech in Electronics/ Electronics and
Communication Engineering/Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate or
equivalent grade from a recognised University/ Institution.
Work Experience: Essential: 2 years of experience of working in a reputed Research Organization. Having hands on experience in control instrument design, operations, VHDL programming, Scientific Camera operations.
Desirable: Knowledge of hardware design, testing and troubleshooting are essential. Must be proficient in VHDL, Verilog, Matlab and C/C++. Must be familiar with Unix/Linux platform and windows platform.

a premier institute devoted to research in astronomy, astrophysics and
related physics. It traces its origins back to an observatory set up in
1786 at Madras which from the year 1792 began to formally function at
its Nungambakkam premises as the Madras Observatory. In 1899, the
observatory moved to Kodaikanal. In the year 1971, the Kodaikanal
Observatory became an autonomous society, the Indian Institute of
Astrophysics.
