Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Project Engineer under the project entitled 'Centre of Excellence for Large Area Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur' at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur.
Minimum Qualification: M.Tech Or B.Tech + 3 years relevant exp. / in Electrical/Electronics /Printing Engineering
Desirable Qualification:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Printing Engineering
Well versed in narrow-web flexo printing and inkjet printing
In-depth knowledge of prepress
Knowledge about different printing methods
Knowledge about software used in printing machines
Role Summary/ Purpose: Project Engineer will be mostly assigned unsolved problems in the printing area. His/her responsibility would be to break the problem in modules and find the best possible solution by first reading literature and then finalizing potential approaches under the mentorship of Professors/experts to bring POC level solution.
Salary and Accommodation: Rs.26400-2200-66000 (based on past experience and achievements). The selected candidate will be eligible to apply for accommodation witbhin IITK campus (RA Hostel- 'As per Institute norms').
Duration of appointment: 1 Year Contract or till end of Project whichever is earlier.
