Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:

Support the Project Manager in defining project scope, objectives, schedules, deliverables, and budgets.

Assist in preparing detailed project plans, including Gantt charts, task lists, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with internal departments (design, procurement, manufacturing, quality, etc.) and external vendors.
2. Technical Oversight and Engineering Support:
-
Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standards.
-
Provide engineering input during the design, development, and construction phases of the project.
-
Ensure that all technical aspects meet quality and safety standards and conform to regulatory requirements.
3. Procurement and Vendor Management:
-
Assist with the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Evaluate technical bids and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
-
Conduct vendor inspections and quality checks when required.
4. Site Management and Execution Support:
-
Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure proper execution of plans.

Coordinate site activities with contractors, subcontractors, and third-party agencies.
-
Support construction or installation phases by solving technical problems and recommending changes.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain detailed project records, including schedules, daily/weekly progress reports, technical logs, and change orders.

Document design changes, site issues, risk assessments, and deviation reports.

Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and performance metrics.
6. Quality and Compliance:
-
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.

Work with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) teams to resolve non-conformance issues.

Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
7. Risk Management and Problem Solving:

Identify and evaluate project risks (technical, commercial, environmental) and implement mitigation strategies.
-
Address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues to maintain project timelines.
-
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
8. Stakeholder and Client Coordination:
-
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to align project goals and maintain clear communication.
-
Attend project meetings and present updates, timelines, and technical justifications.
-
Ensure all stakeholder requirements are understood and translated into actionable plans.
