Ability to commute/relocate Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience Solar Energy: 2+ years (Required) Willingness to travel 75% (Required)
Responsibilities
1. Design and optimize solar PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid) including both DC and AC sides.
2. Oversee installation and commissioning of solar projects, ensuring safety, quality, and design compliance.
3. Assist in system design, component sourcing, and procurement with a focus on cost-efficiency and quality.
4. Collaborate with clients to understand energy needs and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Conduct site surveys and prepare data-driven designs and reports.
6. Maintain documentation, analyze performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and electrical codes.
7. Create accurate and efficient solar photovoltaic (PV) system designs, including single line diagrams, site layouts, and equipment specifications, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
8. Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including project proposals, system schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Diploma electrical or related field. 2 + years of relevant experience in solar or electrical projects. On-site experience. Proficiency in tools like Excel, AutoCAD, and MATLAB, etc. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborative.
