Project Fellow / Assistant Chemistry recruitment in IISER Tirupati
Project: Desorption electrospray ionization mass spectrometric imaging for rapid molecular diagnosis of nephrotic syndrome (funded by IISER Tirupati)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable Qualifications : Candidates having experience in mass spectrometry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry.
Project: Investigation of allosteric communicati on in multidomain proteins (funded by IISER Tirupati)
Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Tech with at least 55% marks in any branch of Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology or any other branches of Life sciences
Desirable Qualifications : Preliminary experience in molecular biology and cell biology experiments, biophysical characterisation techniques.
Project: Development of a multipole radiofrequen cy ion trap setup for laboratory astrophysics/ biomolecular physics (Funded by IISER Tirupati)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics, M.Tech in Mechanical/Elec tronics Engg., BS-MS in Physics, or equivalent degree, with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in mechanical/electro nics engineering applications, Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
Project:Low-mass young stellar activities of the Galactic star forming regions (Funded by IISER Tirupati)
Qualification: MSc in Physics/Astroph ysics, BS-MS in Physics, or equivalent degree, with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Desirable Qualifications : Basic knowledge in Astrophysics, Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, IDL and Python are desirable.
Project: Unravelling the role of root capspecific mannosebinding lectin proteins in root development and their implications in shaping the plant response to environment al cues (Funded by SERB)
Qualification: M.Sc. or Equivalent degree in Life Sciences/ Agricultural Sciences with minimum 60% marks or an Equivalent degree.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in molecular plant physiology and developmental biology.
Fellowship: Candidates who have qualified any of the national level test like CSIR/UGC - NET/GATE etc. with valid score in score card are eligible for remuneration of Rs. 25000/- + HRA as per GOI rules per month. Others will be eligible for INR 16,000 + HRA as per GOI rules per month based on their academic qualification.
