Project entitled: “Assessment of Climate Change Impacts on Soil Health through Microbial and Plant Communities in Alpine Ecosystems of Indian Himalayan Region- GoI-GEF-UNDP Third NATCOM Project”
Essential Qualification (EQ): Post Graduate Degree in Botany/ Environmental Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Forestry with minimum 60 % marks.
Desirable Qualification (DQ):Experience of field work on sampling Himalayan vegetation micro-flora / soil and nutrient analysis. Phenocam based study of plant phenology and analysis of responses of plants to climatic variation. Science writing and good communication skills. Remote Sensing and GIS, Spatial Statistics, Climate modeling.

Location of Project site: WII Dehradun, with extensive traveling to alpine areas in the Indian Himalayan Region (Uttarakhand and Sikkim)
