Project Fellow Geophysics job recruitment in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata)
MoES funded project: ‘Attenuation structure of J&K Himalaya using CodaQ tomography'.
Other Information: Final year M.Sc. students (whose results are awaited) can also apply. However, before joining the position results must be declared and must meet the above essential qualification. The salary for the Project Fellow will be Rs. 25000 per month (consolidated) as per the rules.

Essential Qualifications: 1. Master of Science (M.Sc.)in Geophysics/Geology/Earth Sciences/Physics
2. Physics and Mathematics as subsidiary/pass subjects in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).
3. Minimum of 55% marks in M.Sc.
Desirable Experience: Prior knowledge of UNIX/Linux computing, shell scripting, Fortran/ Matlab programming and use of Mapping Tools (eg. GMT) is highly desired.
