India (WII) on contract basis
Project Title : “Assessment
and Monitoring of Climate Change Effects on Wildlife Species and Ecosystems for
Developing Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies in the Indian Himalayan Region”
Project Fellow (Human Ecology)
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Sciences/
Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/
Biodiversity and Conservation/ with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a
recognized University.
Desirable : Experience /interest in: field data collection
for human - wildlife interface issues; natural resource use, ecosystem services
and socio-economic surveys
Emoluments : Rs. 25,000/- + HRA as admissible (for JPF) Rs. 28,000/-
+ HRA as admissible (for SPF)
Age Limit : Up to 28
years for JPF and up to 32 years for SPF.
Project Assistant (Lab/Office)
Qualification : Under Graduate with one year experience
/Masters’ Degree in Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/ Geography/
Geo-informatics/ Social Sciences, Commerce and Arts from a recognized
university
Desirable : Experience/interest in (a) Database Management,
(b) Spatial analysis using Remote Sensing and GIS tools; (b) Office assistance
including communication and file management
Emoluments : Rs. 22,000/- + HRA as admissible
Age Limit : Up to 28 years
