Job Description

Project Fellow Science recruitment in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram.

Name of Project: Investigation of the interaction of acoustic phonons with electrons in semiconductor nanostructures.

Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency): Post-graduation in Science.

Preference: MSc/MTech in Physics/Photonics/Materials Science with 60% marks.

Preference will be given to those (i) with experience in optical experiments using femtosecond lasers and/or (ii) those with published research work of high quality in related areas.

Experience in the following is desirable: Semiconductor processing techniques including Photolithography, Wet etching, Thermal evaporation etc.

Fellowship amount: Rs 22,000/-

Tenure of the post:The initial appointment will be for a year but extendable up to two years based on the performance and availability of funds

Age:The upper age limit shall be 26 years on the day of application. A relaxation of 5 years is applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and women candidates.
