Job Description
Switcher is into apparel manufacturing and the retail industry. Switcher is a leading apparel brand in Switzerland and we have plans to expand to other countries as well very soon. It is no secret that the textile industry leaves an ecological and social footprint. Despite the social pressure, many companies do not pay living wages, as production is mostly done through agencies and third-party providers. With our own vertically integrated production facility in India - Sulochana Cotton Spinning Mills Private Limited, we ensure that employee rights and all environmental standards are observed. Our productions are powered by wind and solar energy and our dyeing works with an innovative water treatment system (water osmosis) in which the water is filtered and treated.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working with content management systems of retail websites
2. Working with product managers and e-commerce managers to ensure promotions and website updates are implemented
3. Contributing to technology and marketing strategy
4. Contribute to the development of marketing and e-commerce initiatives
5. Oversee social media efforts to ensure a strong brand presence
