Job Opening: Project Manager - Interior Construction and Fabrication
Location: Chandigarh, India
Project Location: Chandigarh (Candidate must be based in Chandigarh)
Qualification: Civil Engineer / Diploma in Architecture / Architect
Experience: Minimum 2 years in interior construction & fabrication
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee project progress and ensure timely completion as per the main contractor’s schedule.
• Manage and coordinate all site activities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, prefabrication, false ceiling, painting, tiling, furniture, and carpentry work.
• Ensure quality standards are met as per design and specifications.
• Monitor and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with work completed on-site.
• Procure materials, negotiate with vendors, and obtain approvals from the parent company.
• Supervise site engineers, quantity surveyors, and labor teams while maintaining daily attendance and work records.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and maintain clear communication with the parent company/senior project manager.
• Manage vendor and labor payments, certify work completion, and assist in preparing running bills.
• Provide daily updates via email and WhatsApp groups.
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Chandigarh’s local material markets and labor availability.
• Experience in managing site operations, quality control, and BOQ verification.
• Excellent coordination, negotiation, and reporting skills.
