Project Office Executive (For HPC) job Position in IISER Bhopal on temporary & contract basis

Qualifications : B.E. / B.Tech (Computer Science / IT, EE, EC) / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science, IT)

Experience: 1- 2 Years hand -on experience in HPC management and maintenance in the following area: 1. Experience in administering Debian and Red Hat Linux systems, including the installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, VPN, etc.), Virtualization and Linux networking (TCP/IP protocols). 2. HPC installations, job schedulers. Linux, mpi, installing and maintaining scientific libraries and software, PBS or open source job schedulers, general systems administration like user accounts management, hardware maintenance, experience with data centre maintenance.

3. Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience (preferably in large-scale high performance computing environments).

4. Designs, develops, evaluates and modifies software packages for the solution of scientific or engineering problems and for the support of research and development. 5. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. 6. Experience in scripting in perl/python/bash and programming in C/Fortran/CUDA.

7. Experience with Linux Kernal modules, preferably for NVIDIA GPUs and Mellanox InfiniBand cards.

8. Familiarity with the cluster resource managers such as open PBS and HT Condor. 9. Experience with MPI and open MP. Familiarity with using and troubleshooting Intel and GNU compilers.

10. Experience with HPC installations, job schedulers, installing and maintaining scientific libraries and software, PBS or open source job schedulers, general systems administration like user accounts management, hardware maintenance, experience with data centre maintenance.

Consolidated Pay :Rs. 31,980/- PM.
