Project Officer (Fluid Mechanics and HMT labs) job vacancies in IIT Jammu on contract basis
Emoluments: Selected candidates will be paid total emoluments in the range of Rs.60,000/- to Rs.80,000/- per month depending on qualification and experience. Residential accommodation may be provided based on availability(condition to payment of license fee).
Age limit: 55 Years.

The educational qualifications and experience required for the post is as under
Essential :(1) Doctorate degree in Fluid Mechanics research areas with a back ground of Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
At least 05-year relevant experience as in the laboratory environment having knowledge of sophisticated instruments.

Desirable: I. The person have exposer for maintenance and conduct of Fluid Mechanics and HMT labs.
II. A person exposed to sophisticated equipment in the fluid mechanics, CFD and Heat & Mass transfer to assist the faculty both UG labs and to develop research facilities
III. To provide support to faculty members to run CFD courses
IV. He should have experience in handling some administrative support in the department of mechanical/civil/chemical engineering.
V. The person should have exposure to the laboratory equipment’s and have interest towards the design and development of new experimental setups.
VI. Computer literacy and experience of working with computerised office
