Project Officer (Network/ CCTV Telecom Services, System and Services including HPC and Data Centre) C3I

Essential Qualifications: (i) ME / M Tech in Computer Science Engineering / Computer Engineering 3 years of experience in areas of networking / software development / maintenance of equipment. The candidates must have prior relevant experience as specified, only at either (1) CFTIs (2) PSUs (3) Multinational/Industry with minimum turnover of not less than US$ 1 Billion. OR BE / B Tech in Computer Science Engineering / Computer Engineering 5 years of experience in areas of networking / software development / maintenance of equipment. The candidates must have prior relevant experience as specified, only at either (1) CFTIs (2) PSUs (3) Multinational/Industry with minimum turnover of not less than US$ 1 Billion. (ii) At least 60% marks in all Boards/ University examinations. (iii) Proven experience in handling Computer Centre services / Campus networking services / HPC/ Big data.

Desirable qualifications: i. Well versed with the latest technologies of the domains having large network of wired and wireless networks. Services requirements for Data, VoIP, and CCTV. ii. Proven experience with Wired and WiFi network implementation and capacity planning and testing at Institute level. iii. Experience from HPC / Big Data Cluster / On-Premise Private Cloud infrastructure shall be an added advantage. iv. Server managements and administrations such as Apache, Name server, LDAP, Radius, Proxy and SMTP and other open source software. v. Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware Exsi open stack and Xen). vi. Firewall (Policy Managements and ACLs) vii. On deputation as per rules.
