Project Research Assistant job Position in International Centre for
Theoretical Sciences (ICTS)
Project : ‘Indian
Monsoon’
Qualification : B Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Civil or
related subject or M Sc in Physics or a related subject. Research experience in
scientific computation is essential. In addition to coursework, research
experience in solving fluid mechanical problems is essential. A very strong
academic record
Desirable : Familiarity with nonlinear dynamics and
related topics. An interest in basic research and ability to commit one year to
this project. Familiarity with atmosphere and ocean processes. Familiarity with
probability and stochastic processes
Salary : Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualification, potential and according to the Centre’s norms. The selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
