Project Research Associate/Technical Assistant job vacancy in Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc)
1. Project Research Associate /1 Post
Qualification: Candidate should have Ph.D. in Computational Biology or Bioinformatics. Only candidates with at least 1 lead author research publication in an indexed international journal will be considered for this position.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36000
2.Technical Assistant [Systems]/1 Post
Essential : Candidates should have completed one of the regular basic Bachelor Degree in Science (Physics / Mathematics / Computer Science / IT) (OR) Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications (OR) Bachelor Degree in Commerce (OR) Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Computer Science / ECE / EEE / IT) from a reputed College / Institution with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all years / semesters. Desirable : Completed I.T. courses covering Linux/Unix O/S. Experience in programming using C, MySQL, Perl, PHP, Python, Shell Scripting under LINUX O/S are added advantage. Candidates possess at-least one year work experience in maintaining LINUX / UNIX systems in the LAN environment are preferred.
