1. NCESS conducts walk-in-interview for the position of Project Scientist B on contract basis for one year.
2. Designation: Project Scientist B
3. Vacancy: 01
4. Qualification: i. M.Sc./M.Tech Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics (with minimum 60% marks)
ii. Minimum three years of experience in relevant field iii.Experience in coastal/backwater island related studies iv. Publications in refereed journals
b. Desirable: Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: (a)Remote sensing of coastal environments (b)Landuse/landcover mapping of backwater islands (c)Mapping elevation and geomorphology of coastal landforms.
5. Remuneration: Rs. 56,000/- plus HRA as applicable
Age Limit:
Age limit (as on 21.04.2021) 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GoI Rules
