Job Description
Project Scientist Biotechnology recruitment in Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur on contractual basis.
Department : Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK).
Qualification: M. Sc. + 1 year experience in Biotechnology or Ph.D. in allied Life Sciences.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having Minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam. At least 4 years of research experience in mammalian cell culture, bacterial culture, and routine molecular biology applications after Masters in an academic institutions/ research & development organization may apply. The candidate should have hand-on experience of techniques like bisulfite sequencing, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), methylated immunoprecipitation (MeDIP) and other epigenetic tools.Should be well conversant with spoken & written English.
