Project Scientist/Engineer/Project Associate recruitment in IIT Mandi
Project Title: Developing a low-cost, scalable and resilient IoT testbed at IIT Mandi (Proj. No. IITM/SG/SS/62)
Essential Qualification: Degrees in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering fields as below
Project Scientist/Engineer: M.Tech/ME or BTech/MCA/MSc + 2 years experience
Project Associate: BTech/MCA/MSc.
Salary: Based on experience/qualifications: INR 10,000 – 15000 per month depending on position applied for.
Desired Skills: Good background in networking including wireless sensor networks; microcontroller programming for sensor control Hands-on / project experience with any of the following: Raspberry Pi, Sensor interfacing, Arduino IDE, IoT development, Computer networking Good programming skills in Python, C/ C++, Linux shell scripting Strong desire and willingness to learn new skills on the job, as required
Main Responsibilities: Developing and deploying IoT modules using skills mentioned above Develop user-friendly software tools and interfaces Data collection and annotation / labeling Detailed regular documentation of the project and administrative tasks Project Scientist/Engineer: Overseeing the management and operations of the entire project.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to attend a walk-in/telephonic interview.
