Project Scientist – I recruitment in Indian Institute of Astrophysics on contract basis
No. of Post : Two
Qualification : M.Sc (Physics) with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute.
Work Experience : a) Essential: Two years experience as Research Trainee or JRF or equivalent in a leading national laboratory or Institute in Physics, using optical and spectroscopic instrumentation having electronic data acquisition systems. Excellent skills in computer programming for data archival and analysis on UNIX platform and fluency in MS Office. b) Desirable: Proficiency in using IDL/MATLAB/PYTHON Software for data handling and analysis and/or Zemax software for optical design and aptitude for research in Astrophysics.
Age Limit : 35 Years
Remuneration : Rs. 45,000/- (Consolidated)
