Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH) invites application for the position Project Scientist II
Project titled: Establishment of National Repository for cGMP complaint microbial Cell bank of Biopharmaceutical Relevance (NRGCBIO).

Essential Qualification:
(i) Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent and
(ii) Three years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Desirable:
a. Experience in Biopharmaceutical quality assurance, Cell banking regulatory requirement, setup and Managing GMP Facility and its validation, GMP quality management system, GMP document preparation and review. Equipment qualification and validation as per GMP/GLP norms, IQ, OQ, PQ, routine validation.
b. Knowledge of national and international regulatory guidelines related to cell banking and Biopharmaceuticals. Biosafety and Biocontainment requirement in Biopharmaceutical R&D. Environmental compliance required for recombinant and non- recombinant cell line generation in GMP setup. Any other work assigned by the Project Leader.
Monthly Emoluments: 67,000/- +HRA Increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review.
Age Limit: Upper Age limit (years) - 40
