Job Description
Temporary post in the project entitled “Molecular and
Immunohostochemical diagnosis of extrapulmonary Cutaneous Tuberculosis”, under
Principal Investigator- Dr Nasreen Z Ehtesham, Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research,
Department of Life Sciences, as per the details provided below. After screening of applications,
only shortlisted applicants will be called for interview. The duration of the appointment is for a
period of one year or till the end of the project.

POST: Project Technical Scientist
Number of Post: One
Age Limit: 35 Years
Consolidated pay: Rs. 56000/- p.m. + HRA (27%)
Essential Qualifications:
1st class Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biosciences/ related areas
from a recognized university; or 2nd class Post Graduate Degree including integrated PG
degrees with PhD in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ related areas from a
recognized university
Desirable:
Ph D in relevant subject. At least three publications in peer-reviewed journals in the relevant
area. Prior experience in TB research/ handling pathogenic microorganisms shall be preferred.
Ability to design and execute independent research studies.
